This page is designed to assist emergency services coordinators, response planners, public information officers and others with responsibility for organizational actions following a damaging (or felt) earthquake in southern California. Through the TriNet website you have access to information on current seismic activity which includes: magnitude and location, aftershock information, earthquake status reports prepared by Caltech, USGS and CGS, and the TriNet ShakeMap which provides ground shaking information on earthquakes of magnitude 4 or greater in the region. In addition, this webpage contains links to other useful sites which you may find useful both for response and for planning, training, exercises, and broadening your understanding of earthquakes.
